Who ever thought Glocks would be considered collectable?   Here’s a difficult to find First Generation G17L.      Serial number prefix of “DA” makes this an early 1988 import.  1988 was the first year G17Ls were imported into the US and DA prefix guns were the first batch brought in.

This is not a ported barrel.   75% of G17Ls were not ported.    Ported barrels were prone to cracking and at the time the factory would replace a failed barrel with an un-ported one.  If you run across one and can afford the price, I’d recommend picking it up as they are quite scarce.   But don’t shoot it with the original barrel.    The good news is you can feel confident shooting THIS pistol.

Overall condition is very good.  The pistol features its original adjustable rear sight and factory 3.5lb trigger.   Included is the original Tupperware style box and one magazine.
